Petrol cap side vs Fuel gauge
« on: 11 March 2009, 00:39:23 »

Is it an urban myth that someone just mentioned again to me or not?

Does the petrol can nozzle printed on your fuel gauge point to which side your petrol cap is? Seems a bit ridiculous and I always wondered if this was a wind up. Not one to be gullible usually, but its got me wondering now... :)

some car manufacturers do print and arrow to denote what side of the car the cap/flap is on, i believe ford do this on the fiesta and escort/focus....

some other manufacturers do place the decal to denote what side the flap is on........
