terribly sorry old boy, I am a little tired.....very few programmers understand binary these days

Going by his size .. it would be big-endian not little-endian

but then he probably has an Intel machine not a motorola so that would be little-endian not big-endian

but then MS uses both and doesn't really care ......

so he probably doesn't either ........
