very handy that two post car hoist i wish i could get one in my garage  :'( im still using jacks and ramps very hard welding cars lying on yer back ;D ;D

now we are talking t i g welding best welding of all its clean no sparks  its great  :y :y

yes thats my next big purchase a inverter tig with about 180 amps should do very nice you can also arc weld with these sets aswel . just got to find some where to get argon gas for welding st/steel and aluminum  ;) start to make a few pounds then :y :y

I've used them. Brilliant bits of kit.
I've been thinking along exactly the same lines  ;D  ;D
180amps? Do you need more than a domestic supply?  :-/  :-/

no you can buy them with 110 volts or 230 volts i have used loads on these voltages they are great . best sets are esab but very pricey but for work shop use the cheaper set are very good :y

I thinking current rather han voltage ie can you stick a 13 amp domestic plug on it or do you need a dedicated supply from the consumer unit?  :-/

I bought a Solar Auto Dimming Welding Mask about 15 years ago at a cost of around £250 :o
As long as you don't drop them they last for years, I still have mine :y

yes they use a 13 amp plug and will run off a domestic out let . i used the set from work at home loads of times . because its a inverter it wacks the power up inside the set so it will run on 230 volts . but if you do buy one of these sets make sure it has a cooling fan built in or it will over heat and trip out untll cool then come back on .  :y :y

yes you can get these set with ac/dc just flick the switch and your on ac . and still on 230 volts they are brill :y
