I have far too much other stuff to deal with than join yet another internet community  


Members are free to do as they wish, but we need to be careful against splitting the community here -    which is the reason we have always rejected putting a chatroom on here...   

If you look at the layout of facebook you will see that it would be very difficult for anything like that to happen

never ever logged on to fb, wouldn't know....

It was never my intension to take members away from this group at all, however i feel everyone has the right to make their own minds up where they wish to share their omega knowledge. i for one will not be moving away from this forum now or in the future and i'm sure all the other members share the same view......... the facebook group is just something else to look at

i only use facebook as everyone from the pubs on it and all my relations and school mates. if they decide to make it a pay site they will lose a lot of members. i prefer here than there anyday

Personally I think if anything it may well bring more members to the OOF as people link via facebook.

One thing that may be interesting, but in a different way for those members that have a Wi console and group together to play mario kart.  Is that some of the members that work nights or are bored in the office could put there skills up against others on some of the Facebook game links.  

There are some of the old clasic games, scores are rest weekly, could be a bit of fun, even if just for those that choose to have a go in the early hours.
