Tent advice - repair
« on: 27 April 2009, 14:06:21 »

Anyone know how to repair a small split on a modern synthetic tent?  I thought you used to be able to get some patches that glued on with a special glue?

If you're going to York, why do I get the feeling I am in for a beating ;D

I have suggested such a thing to said 'old bag', I told her it was just like her cross-stitch, but apparently I am unimformed and stupid...  ...however, the swelling around my eye is going now...

Is it sticky, or do you need glue?

LOL, apparently you can't easily stitch that sort of material.  Looking at your article, its "ripstop nylon for nylon tents", is that the same as Welung666's stuff above?
