I've just had a car flying past me (I thought it was a Continental but my lad thinks it was an Aston Martin) with the number plate D7.

Some people must have some serious bread to waste! :o

Anopther plate I used to see a lot of around Offerton nr Stockport was JUL 1E - on a OLD red 440 Volvo!! My wifes name (amongst others) is Julie so you can image in the conversations we used to have about that! ::)

You mite see mine if your around the area B16 HNK (for those that don't see BIG HUNK) o.k you can all laugh now my wife bourght it for me for crimbo and i love it makes me smile when i see it.
 ;D ;D ;D :) :)

I used to live in Offerton & work in Hazel Grove but now I'm in Glossop and work from home. Only time I come that way now is if I fancy a McDonalds on the way somewhere!

Will look out for you though Hunky Boy ;) ;)

They don't do that sort of things in Switzerland. All you get is a 2-letter code for your canton and a number. I am unfortunate to live in BaselStadt so I get to drive a car marked as BS. >:(

A long time ago (17 years ago to be precise) when I lived in the states, a girlfriend of mine drove a red Honda with plates that read 'On Fire'

Does anyone from the Merseyside area remember Ian Skelly's the VW/Audi dealer on Edge Lane, his number plate was AUDI on an Audi 100 estate.

When i was up London on the embankment a couple of months back i saw an Aston Martin and a Roller sitting side by side on a drive outside their garages with the plates  2 B  and   NOT 2B.  I would imagine they would set you back a bob or two 8-).

I saw SP07 RTY on a Porsche on my way to work to day, thing that confused me ( aprt from I was trying to read it in my mirrors ) was that it was on plates that appeared German.

I often see W1 GAN on a Range Rover Sports on my way to or frm work.  :y

They did actually release PEN15, obviously more niave world at the time.  ::)

EN used to be the registration letter for Bury which gives you loads of BEN's JEN's etc but we used to see TEN 66 at one time on a crappy Rover, and years ago we had GEN 1E
