BBC2 7:30. Might be OK. There's not much else on.

You can have a telly without a license......all it needs to be is not conencted to an aerial, and no channels tuned in  :y

thus being used as a monitor.  the fact it has an unused tuner gets around it.

would be better calling it a tuner license, as the screen bit is immeterial.

from reading up on it, one thing is for certain, you WILL get checked up on  >:(

TBH I resent having to pay a TV Licence to the BBC as I cannot watch anything unless it runs through my Sky box, hence BBC getting paid teice >:( >:( >:( >:(

But then....... If it keeps Top Gear going ::) ::) :y :y :y

Well on Heartbeat they were in Australia, and we saw plenty of a 1960s Ford convertible (if that's what they were called in Aussie land then!).  Lovely example. 8-) 8-) 8-) ;)

Missed the British classics though! :'( :'( :'(

What was on Car Show? :-? :-?

Thats a very sticky wicket.....as the TV has a receiver and the receiver will be operable whilst the set is on....

Remember the detector vans use the colour oscillator signature from the receiver to determine if the TV is on and receiving....how are you going to prove you were not receiving and viewing TV.

hecne you WILL get checked up on....

I'll dig out the details on what is aloud.

but if it is not tuned in, and not conencted to an aerial, you have a good case.
