How Far Do You Live From Where You Were Born?

I was just thinking.

My Mum was born in Aberdeen, also gave birth to my sister there.  Mums Sister gave birth to her 2, 1 in Sinagpore (Army Wife) and 1 in Aberdeen.

My Dad moved down from Consett and married my Mum and set up home in Rotherham.  Both my Brother and Myself were born a Listerdale nursing home in Wickersley.

My Brother (youngest of us all) has allways lived in Wickersley, so has my Sister.  My Brother has Moved twice, My Sister 3 times.  Dont think Either will ever move again.

I then realised I have moved 8 times, but maybe not more than 6 miles from where I was born.  I wont be moving again. . . .Hopefully. ::)

I was born in Bath and live in Swansea.
My wife north Poland and lives with me.
kids both born in Swansea

About 3 or 4 miles! I've lived in Rosyth & Pompey, but come back. :y

Have lived further afield but am currently less than a mile from where I was born ( when I am here I want to be elsewhere ... when I am elsewhere I want to be here ) ::)

About 1300 miles away from where I was born, and I have moved 18 times in my life 8-) 8-) ;) ;)

born in Belfast,moved to north essex when i was 19,been here ever since.Dont really mind where I live tbh,I used to get homesick a long time ago but not really these days.

Born in Leeds,moved to South Africa as a child,then to Rhodesia,then back to South Africa,back to UK,back to South Africa came back to UK at 16 biggest mistake I ever made,now live in Wigan about 50miles from Leeds

Born in  JR hospital Oxford akways lived in Oxfordshire Witney oxford and Bicester .
So about 12 miles from where  I was born  :y

I was born in Ripon, north Yorkshire ,then I've lost count on how many times i moved till I was 16 when me dad came out of army.Since then i lived in same house in rainham.Unless you count the last 20 years where I lived in varouis trucks tramping round UK and Europe :D :D :D

i was born in mexboro hospital about 2 miles from where i live right now...although i did live in london for 10 years and still work there..i'm happy in the dearne valley

Is that a Services trait, d'you reckon?  Liikewise, while in the RAF dad moved around Lord knows how many times -- then retired to the house he's still in now, over three decades later.
