I dont mind flying, its the crashing I dont like ::)

 ;D ;D ;D ;D

Very true. Not that I would know! The scariest moment on a plane for me was flying from Manchester to Edinburgh on business. It was a prop plane and I sat down and leaned on the side to look out the window. The whole panel just dropped off.  :o :o

I sheepishly called the steward over and he said it happens all the time!!  :o :o

Can be quite sobering scottie, I got caught in a thunder storm over Belgium in a Gazelle rotary wing many years ago -not a nice experience.

Spoilt a very nice outing and made the CO bear-like for the remainder of the tour ;D ;D

The subsequent site inspections were rigorous to say the least. :( :(

A case of watching the pennies perhaps :-/ :-/

I tend to agree with you there Zulu, as the credit crunch has to hit their industry with greater effect if they wish to stay in the running :( .

challenging g-force can be deadly sometimes.. :(

I myself also dont like to fly (if I have wings thats ok ;D) ..
but anyway forced to from time to time..

the last time I was flying from cyprus to istanbul.. everybody in the airplane drink too much except me..

because I know on the marmara sea there are always air holes which make you really bad..

anyway when we reach over marmara air holes start their job, the plane start falling and everybody start to puke  ;D ;D
