Las Vegas
« on: 21 July 2009, 17:17:44 »

Las Vegas churches accept gambling chips.

There are more Catholic churches in Las Vegas than casinos.

Worshippers regularly put casino chips in when the basket is passed.

The churches send all their collected chips to a nearby Franciscan Monastery for sorting and then the chips are taken to the casinos of origin and cashed in.

That work is done by the chip monks.

I'll get my coat!  :D :D
