looks like us in the UK are about to be banned from using the expression 'Spending a Penny' when going to the toilet.

From the end of the year it has to be described as "Euronating"

A little factoid: I found out on Wednesday that it costs 50 euro cents (about 37p) just to have a pee at the public convenience next to the duty free on the border between Macedonia and Greece. Next time I'll have a curry the night before to get my money's worth.  ;) :D ;D ;D

On any motorway ( autobahn rasthof ) service in Germany it costs €0.50 cent to use the toilet, some of them you get a coupon that you can hand in if you buy something in the shop,
Its a pita when you spend most of your time on the roads as a truck driver, it could get very expensive and its mostly a long way to the next firm where you have to go :o

You dont have to go abroad. In Whitby it's 40p for an adult and 10p for a child.

The attendant was suspicious when I told her I was 9. ;D
