The only acceptable pastie is true, genuine, Cornish Pasties, piping hot from the bakers in Hayle Cornwall!! :-* :-* :-* :-* 8-) 8-) 8-)

Nothing else, no matter what filling, comes close! :P :P :P :P :P :P

Never considered a Salmon pastie before, but the Sausage and  beans sounds nice.

My mum bakes me pasties & there's no nasties in them :P :P :P :P :P Just good stuff :) :) :) :)

As Lizzie said there is no substitute for a real homemade cornish bought from a small shop & NOT in a wrapper. Some factory efforts have carrot ....should be swede & i beliave pasties have thier origin as a miners meal with savoury one end & sweet at the other, jam etc.
    Anything you enjoy though can go in a little de frosted pastry (messy job making it yourself) Left over spagbol, chillie, chicken & veggies, egwash & in the oven, sorted! :y
