Lost and 24 and every other programme that was shown on Sky because Virgin and Sky can't get their act together. No more Sky news for me

Agreed.......it's a bloody fiasco!!
Unlike Sky, Virgin want to keep prices down and as usual Sky want too much money which means Virgin would then have to pass on the increase to the consumer. Sky are trying to get Virgin customers to switch over to Sky with offers of cheap packages, but the packages they are offering at special prices are only for a limited time. At the end of this time, they will then clobber you with the full price. Sky also seem to forget the fact that many thousands of people such as myself, live in flats or buildings where you are not allowed to put up satellite dishes. However, I would still rather stay with Virgin rather than line Murdoch's pockets even more.

My local pub has swithed over to a foreign channel in order to receive premiership football because Sky wanted too much money for the commercial licence. Based on the rateable value of the pub, Sky wanted to charge nearly £10k per year whereas the subscription to ART Sport is £1500 per year AND they show live 3pm games on Saturdays!!

Sky are just money grabbing barstewards!!

because we had been with Telewest for almost 3 years, a few months ago i spotted there free TV deal.

We are now on that, basically freeview + sky one and a few others.... we get E4 and Film4, but we do not get the +1 channels, I rang up and they said they would charge for those channels!!!!  

But they are free i said, freeview box will get them for free! They said do you get SkyOne (rang month or so ago) yes i said, well you don't get Skyone on freeview....

Anywho when we leave in a few months I am going to have fun winding them up!

Last week.... Man with dodgy eyes and scalpel in his back,told by hunky doctor to make sure blond woman is not killed. He agreed.

Yeah, Murdoch-Branson pissing match    I'm thinking of downloading the shows, I paid for them and not getting them after all!  Not my fault a couple of 2 year old MD's tossed their dummies.  

I shall be 'discussing' getting out of our contract wth NTL.
