I should add partly because work are looking for a 'volunteer' to go to Derby, and works own documents suggest a motorbike is unsuitable form of transport (hence no mileage paid), therefore I can't go ::)

In Brackley, we're knackered.  I checked for a local bus service to Bicester and back again (Bicester is 2nd nearest train station - the nearest is a platform in a field, and trains don't often stop southbound).  The local bus service to Bicester runs once a week, starts in Bicester, takes 1hr to get to Brackley, turns round, and returns to Bicester 1hr later. Thats it. So its useless.  Bicester people can't come to Brackley, as next bus is a week later, Brackley people can't go to Bicester, for same reason.

So, whatever the greenies say, I NEED a friggin car. Live with it, and go back to tree hugging

If the bus picks me up from my house when I want it, then ferries me around where I want to go, then I'd use it, but, sorry, until then it's the car every day  :y :y

Im not normally one for these green issues.....but this one has caught my attention for some reason.

Tomorrow, 22nd Sept, is international Car Free day.

I have decided to take part, and will use a different method of transport, and will leave my car at marks home  ::)

I think you should all follow suit.

Just a thought,is there enough room at Marks to leave all those car's? :D ;D
