Oxo.
« on: 30 September 2009, 18:33:04 »

Got back to the yard today, crumbled a beef (red) oxo into a cup, poured hot water in and drank it. Only one person of several said they used to drink hot oxo as a kid, the rest stood gormless & wide eyed.
Each to thier own but i've drunk it all my life so was surprised so many had'nt!!! :o

Bit like Marmite, you either love it or hate it. I'm not a big fan, much prefer a nice strong cuppa Yorkshire Tea :y

Make sure you've got plenty of cream crackers in to dunk then.

I used to take the cubes to work -- makes a nice warming drink at lunchtime.  Mind you I haven't had an oxo drink in many a year -- wonder if my taste buds have changed !!!

When I was a lad, we were often very skint, and the dog would get a bowl of bread with lashings of oxo for it's dinner. ;D
