heir apparent to the Osborne baronetcy of Ballintaylor as son of the 17th Baron.

i love someone who's richer than Manchester United telling us "we're all in it together" - i'm sure he'd know what the average joe's life is like  :y

we're all in it together to deprive the poorest in society of any meagre handouts, whilst rewarding the very richest by cutting inheritance tax (he'd know all about inheritance to be fair  ;D

sorry - i'm positive he has the best and most honourable of intentions and he'll treat everyone fairly  8-)

Agreed......Eton educated "Tory boy"buffoon.....nasty minded public school thingy.......no understanding whatsoever of the real world......still has a nanny to dress him in the morning. :( :(

Apparently though.....he has a good voice....and took part in recording "The Eton boating song".....as you do. ;D ;D

If you are going to try and slag folks off, please - at least - TRY and get some facts correct ...  :)

George Osborne : Educated at Norland Place School, St Paul's School and Magdalen College, Oxford .......

Not a mention of Eton there anywhere ..  :y :y :y

Aah it's nice to see bj stirring the keek again - where would we be without a generous lesson in the ideology of the failed ideal?  ;D ;D ;D

..... can you quote any sources to back that bj? - sarcasm based on class prejudice rarely works in my view, gets in the way of properly constructed argument ;) ;)

...indeed Optio self-inflicted blindness was always the bane of the socialist ideal when it came to the issue of class :( :( - prevented the worth of any individual being assessed in anything but the negative due to unwarranted prejudice - didn't prevent a socialist elite being placed to fill the gap however ::) ::) ::)

...and that is his fault how?

i'm sure he'd know what the average joe's life is like

...I'm sure he reads and listens to the same news as you, so why would he be unaware of the plight that many now face?

...can you give a run down on what you understand his proposals to be bj?

...the uncalled for strength of your language Optio blunts any validity your comments might have - if you were able to substantiate them of course ::) ::)

So the idea of an intelligent, well educated person acting responsibly is now seen as an odious crime ???

Perhaps the "Ay lad, canst thou hear me at back, wilst thou fetch us a pint" type is more suiting to some ??

Explains a lot as to why/how the country is in such a mess I suppose ... politics of envy ... so lets vote in the thickest idiots instead....  :(

Some would indeed advocate that, Entwood :( :( - anything to keep the 'other crowd' out.

So, in the Optimist/Bannjaax world, if you happen to have been born into a monied and titled family, you would be banned from serving in government or having an opinion as to the way the economic situation should be handled.

Just pathetic class hatred. Graphically illustrated by the unnecessary use of his rare middle name, as if that makes him a worse person.

I don't happen to agree with all his ideas on the economy, but this sort of attack on his background is just odious.   >:( >:( >:(

Thank you for your kind supportive words Nickbat. ::)
We need intelligent.....articulate......and erudite individuals to form the next government...
such people can be found in our state schools and universities.....normal people. ;) ;)
The very idea .....that in 2009 we need to get 75%(if we get as seems likely a Conservative government) of our front bench politicians from some insular ......outdated ........institution such as Eton(where it is still 1957).....is quite frankly laughable.
We live in a diverse ....ever changing society......Our government needs to reflect this. :y :y

Now look what you have started Bannjaxx!!!!!!!! ::) ::) ::) ::)

Now I wouldn't of dream't of doing such a controversial thread!! ::) ::) ::)

Bloody stirrer! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D  :y :y :y :y :y :y

moi?  ::)

i'm keeping my powder dry for Mr Cameron on Friday - this was just a shot across the bows  ;D
