Desperation is setting in amongst the Greenies.
As I noted earlier in the week, the BBC has, for the first time, allowed a remark that "the debate about what is causing global warming is far from over."
Incidentally, that has really upset the chief censor on Wikipedia global warming matters (William M. Connolly..a Brit sadly) who states "I have Hank to "thank" for pointing me towards http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/8299079.stm, which was presumably written to prove that the BBC is no longer sane or indeed terribly interested in reality." Yes, Wikipedia does have a full-time censor in these matters. Anything of a sceptical nature that is posted is immediately withdrawn.
Even the Sunday Times apparently has story in its Section 4 (I don't get the paper or have a link), which contains the following:
"So not only is carbon dioxide plainly not poisonous, but changes in carbon dioxide levels don't necessarily mirror human activity. Nor does atmospheric carbon dioxide warm the earth: ice-cap evidence shows that over the past several hundred thousand years, carbon dioxide levels have risen after arise in temperature, not the other way around."
So the wheels are beginning to fall off this fraudulent bandwagon in the run-up to Copenhagen in December, where all industrialised nations are due to sign up to pay billions to developing countries in climate reparations.
Oh, and Mother Nature has been doing her bit too. Across the States, long-term cold weather records are being broken, right down as far as the Texas Panhandle.
In Europe, a cold blast is set to bring December-like weather down through central countries, as far as the Balkans in the next few days.

Still at least the SNP is bashing out the same old tired tune:
"The 2009 SNP Annual Conference will open with a call for other countries to follow Scotland’s lead and agree to ambitious plans to combat climate change at Copenhagen."

Way to go Mr Salmon!

(Yes, I know that's not how you spell it, but there's something decidedly fishy about him
)
on yersel the Big Yin
interesting article on there Nick, but i think you're reading what you want it to say, not what it says - climate change sceptics are quick to jump on anything that appears to strengthen their case and conveniently ignores hard scientific evidence - the earth is a cyclical entity cooling and warming all the time, the overall trend is an increase in temp but you take a square slice of data out of context and squish it into the round hole of the argument - not enough for me i'm afraid.
the debate continues
up next - we totally prove man didn't land on the moon......after these messages
The planet's surface temperature is not increasing - and hasn't for several years, neither is the ocean temperature, according to the ARGO buoys. But if you want to believe the myth, then go right ahead.
Got fairies at the bottom of your garden as well, then?
