Waiting for a date from Guffer - though I reckon that may have to be limited attendence due to the site?

If anyone else has covered site capable of holding 20+ cars, that would be ideal

Can we donate beer to your neighbor for keys to the Rugby club car park?
Last time I checked, he came from Yorkshire, not America ;D

Ta Jamie!  :y  :y

American spelling would be a far more worth while target instead of some of the other censored words .... like a capital b :-?  :-?  :-?
Not sure what happened there, I missed all the fun. Guess it was an attempt to stop the gay boys who insist on talking like 8yr olds on gay mobiles...

i didnt think we had sexuality specific mobiles lol

Apple aside, i'm not convinced with all this gayness. Anything not windows is gay it seems. I reckon "somebody" has posters of Bill Gates on their bedroom wall.  :-*  ;)

If you're talking phones, Microsoft still have a lot to learn ;).  That said, at least they have a direction/strategy, unlike Nokia who've lost their mojo at the smartphone end of market, helping crApple's success.  Only reason I use Windows phones is purely because I'm tied to Exchange with no RIM. Easy app development is handy as well.

If you're talking computing in general, I bat for whichever side is the best/most suitable for the stated task, which may or may not be Windows.

Ericsson just use Sony Branding, they wanted to create a "Playstation" branded phone to rival games on the iPhone but Sony said no.

Very wrong actually.

Sony-Ericsson is a total stand alone company with a 50:50 split of ownership between Sony and Ericsson.

Ericsson provide the mobile chip sets (as they do to most mobile manufacturers) and Sony the add-ons such as cyber shot camera etc.

I bow to your obvious experience with computers.

But phones, to me windows smart phones are miles behind, although i've been too bored by them to look recently tbh. They seem far more limited, and boring, out of all thats available. As far as i'm aware symbian started the whole smartphone thing, and i've yet to see anything beet it over all, only thing the bothers me is slight lag, but never bored with it.
Having said all that, things have moved on within the course of my contract, and need to sus the latest....before buying another nokia probably.

May i ask what "manly" device you use?  in case i'm missing something. HTC touch diamod is it?

"Tied to exchange with no Rim"? Whats that? Oof access related?

I use an HTC Touch Pro, and would most definately NOT recommend it.  HTC have, like Nokia, lost a grip on reality recently. My older HTC was miles better (though being older, less featured)

Being over the age of 8 (physically, not mentally), I need a real keyboard, so have limited choice.

Exchange is a mail service.  I need a phone for communicating. That means calls and emails.  That said, its handy to have Windows clients on the phone to be able to look after servers  :-X

Symbian is way too fiddly to use, no consistency, too many menus and sub menus to find various settings. Symbian had its day (and long before Nokia bought it)

I stand corrected  :y

If its such an equal split why did Sony not like the idea of a Playstation phone?  :-/

Some of my dealings with Sony's gaming arm do make me wonder about them... ...however, surely a more integrated device (gaming platform with built in phone) could open up a whole raft of opportunities for users, helping to boost flagging sales (both in phone and in handheld gaming).  Imagine, decent gaming on your phone (based on PSP, not the half baked, undeveloped n-gauge shite from Nokia), with built in newtwork aware comms for multiplayer, all on the single device you'd always carry with you anyway.  This would appeal to many adults as well as PSP base market (teenagers)

PSP does not make calls.

They do it with their music? 'Sony Ericsson Walkman' phones, that impacts their walkman / mp3 players, so why not the same with Playstation? The size of the phone screen and processing power would never match that of the PSP Go
