« on: 10 March 2007, 20:01:28 »

Hi
Im after a new heatsink and fan for a socket 775 pentium processor.

The one thats fitted is driving me nuts,,Too noisy,i need silence, any advice from anyone thats had the same problem would be appreciated..

Ive looked at a few but feedback is better than the bumf the manufacturers write, so come on dont be shy.. :y

Personally dont think you can go wrong with the relavent Zalman one, www.overclockers.co.uk are a good source, as are www.quietpc.com.

Ive had a few different Zalman ones now, always been happy with the very quiet noise level.

The stock one isn't normally too bad, unless it has started to fail.

Try www.quietpc.com ;)

Though I should add that Zalman stuff tends to get noisy quickly...
