It's a train.  Put it on rails where it belongs. :)

With our roads getting narrower, I can't see it happening.

saw this on the news, it was stopped on its first run  ;D

BUT, its just as easy to turn as our standard trucks, it has the same turning circle, and weight limit (45 ton) The idea is 3 standard trucks can be replaced by 2 of those, its also safer due to shorter stopping distance  :)

As with much in this country today the reasonable and innovative nature of the concept fails when the practical application of the proposal is examined.

The LHV Eco-Link has the same 12.4m turning circle as a standard articulated truck

Reversing into a loading bay may be somewhat amusing - for the watchers!

Perfect for those often needed airfield to airfield via one straight road delivery runs, not so good for nearly every other yard in the country.

There many Goods Trains that go past were i live & i counted 25 trucks on the back of a coal train the other day :o
Each one means one less truck on the road & to me as a driver that's a good thing.
