What would we do without the police force on the other hand?
That's not the issue. Yes we all need them at some point. They are the ones that should set an example, how can they expect Joe Public to law abiding when they clearly flout the law?
Yes we all need them at some point
We certainly do Pete
when they clearly flout the law
I wouldn't have thought that the examples shown were meant to suggest that these officers were representative of the force as a whole or that such incidents were commonplace.
These foolish officers risk being disciplined and rightly so however all dedicated officers should expect support from the public at large as without it the system will not work.
Good points as usual Zulu.
The public get away with quite alot, the police can only "Nick" them as and when they see them and catch them in the act.
These officers were caught in the act (On Film)
My point is this. My local plod park on doble yellows, facing the wrong way, at night and half way accross the kerb when it suits them.
They laugh police cars over the sleeping policemen to see how long they stay airbourne, landonging the car to see how many sparks they can make on landing.
But yet if we were seen doing this we get nicked.
The simple point I make, if they act by the law they joined to enforce then these farcical incidents would not rake place.
Like holding on to a moving car with a bicycle, is that part of Police training.
