Any plumbers?
« on: 07 January 2010, 19:41:34 »

The plumbing here is keeping me busy today!

Fixed the water supply, now a prob with sink.

Normal, typical, plastic? type sink.

When water in it, it weeps through where the drain attaches to sink.

Firstly, how does it come apart (presumably start by undoing screw in plughole), secondly, being kitchen sink, can't have it out of action for long, so would like all bits before I start, is it a rubber seal or similar? Or sealent?

I can nip to screwfix tomorrow (near the dealer I need to go to anyway), if I know what I need

Yes it's held on by the screw and it does have a rubber ring. Pretty standard item, IIRC.

is there a seal above sink as well as below?

Does this seem right?
