Mrs has left Sheffield to drive home. She's covered a mile in 15 mins :(

I need her to hurry because there's a sink full of dishes and I want my tea. ;D

Get washing and cooking you lazy sod!!

Tidy up and get a nice tea on the table for when she gets in, then run her a bath and give her a nice massage!!! :y

Then she will want an early night and a cuddle.  ::) ;D ;D

And whats wrong with that!! ::) ::)

Don't flatter yourself. She may be "having a cuddle" while you're outside digging snow!!! :D

hey Jaime....  how about a BBQ???
I think not. Oddly, you're the 2nd person to suggest that today, hence I already have a pic from this morning (before the lunchtime blizzard we had)...

Take 5k a year off the teachers wages and tell them they can have it back as a bonus at the end of the year if they have full attendance, bet they turn up then. The LEA should then supply every teacher with a spade so should it snow they can all get outside and clear the paths, simples :)

I asked swmbo (Cover Supervisor) why is it that teachers can give up trying toget into work but expect everyone else to be at their place of work, the 'Look' I got..... :-X

That said it is pretty bad at the moment, had to think twice myself today but went in, colleague in neighbouring village rang in saying they could not get in, I drive right past her village and used the same roads..... :D :D :D

My SWTSMBO had a text at 1500 telling her no school tomorrow ... I still don't know if there'll be a bus service to get me in to work ... they "haven't got the information to make a decision yet" ... and the Government want us to use public transport !!!  Might have to stick the chains on to get out of the estate and onto main roads .. :(

Tomorrow i'll take the Beastie to work then take the truck wherever it has to go, then back to the yard, then drive the Beastie home again.
I do this every working day every year regardless. Been doing it for years all over the country. Some of us just get on with it. If i can go where i need to in an artic, hundreds of miles a day regardless then folk can drive/walk/wade to a cozy school/office etc. No excuses. Sorry but i've heard enough whimpering excuses. Unless you live somewhere REALLY extreme make the effort. The rest of us do. ::)
