Unless you arrive at 4am, the only parking spaces you will find (which won't be that close) are the £10+ per hour NCP jobbies.

By the time you have factored in fuel, congestion charge, parking costs, etc....it would be cheaper to take the train and then a taxi to cover the short distance from station to hospital.

As I've said above (twice) trains are not an option... It's either me driving or taxi from home to the hospital and back :o

Price isn't a concern, fuel will be £15-20 (max) as it's LPG, St Mary's and the 2 car parks I've looked at, thus far, are outside the Congestion Zone. Return trains from here will be £35odd each, Taxi to Cockfosters will be approaching £100 so Driving and parking for a few hours, even if I end up paying Congestion too, will still be considerably cheaper ;) ;)

There's a mention of disabled parking in the key, but i can't see a car park.

Got the third Sat Nav to run too... My memory ;) ;) Used to drive London all the time for a living and still remember a fair bit, although I did find one of my "short cuts" the other month that had been changed to flow in the opposite direction ::) ::)

Had an interesting experience with a taxi driver once... Transit with Bull Bars, Black cab cutting me up and stamping on the brakes... Lots of witnesses :y :y :y

Just as an update... Paddington station car park isn't too bad, although the spaces are a bit tight! I managed to park between an 04 plate Bently and an 09 plate Merc, so knew I was unlikely to come back to any new dents :y :y

You have to go the correct way to get there without entering the congestion zone though, which my new TomTom did impeccably :y :y

There is also a few pay and display spaces at the hospital, but the station was the best choice!

Driving was the right decision... SWMBO was quite uncomfortable on the way home :( :( Just got to wait a couple of weeks for the results now >:( >:(
