In not having the inclination to obtain one upon release, I hope that I'm not missing out on what seems to be the next big thing. (according to Mr Jobs)

Problem is, get a £250 Netbook and you can bin the hobbled version of windows 7 and put Linux on it whereby it becomes as useful as a real computer.

Can you remove the iCrippleware from this box and do something useful other than pose in the office and buy overpriced, over compressed music downloads from crApple?

That's what I'd like to know. ;)

No prizes for that answer....surely?
I've seen apple lap top owners sit down in a room and look around for a reaction with a smug grin as they open the lid, and then look obviously disspointed as nobody "noticed".... how apallingly sad.

But on the other hand i hate lap tops in general due purely to the heat and poor battery life, i dont suppose Cripple will have solved those issues with this latest attention seaker. But to be honest i'll never use a laptop to its full potential and probably couldnt justify the cost of even a net book for the use it'll get... :-/

Got me an eMac a few years back, and have no issues with it.
