I spoke to a mate of mine who works on the Post and he says the MANAGER IS THERE from 330am at all offices awaiting deliveries of mail to be sorted, and she should be there ASAP to that time, even put a notice on gates to sorting office asking someone to call you as a matter of EXTREME urgency.

Thanks for the info,alarm is now set for 3.30am,not got up that early since i gave up lorry driving 3 years ago, will b a shock to the system  :o  :o

My FIL is a delivery office manager. He is in work at 3:30am.

Hi all, well been up for for what seems like hours trying to contact the post office  :o finally some1 answered the phone at 5.55am spoke to a manager who says he will come and look in the post box as soon as it is daylight, so fingers crossed might get my money back and my son will live to see his 9th birthday on friday  :D  :D  :y once i have the envelope back in my hand will let you know.
