Avatars & signatures ??

Is it me .. or are these starting to grow in size again ??

I only ask as I've been on the lappy today and it has limited t'internet speed .. it was very erratic on some pages.. ok on others ... I've tried to find the "turn off" for avatars and signatures but can't ....

Sadly your avatar breaks the rules - check the filesize (which in place to protect users on low bandwidth connection)

Its not the size that concerns me its the content of some of them. I have a 10 year old daughter and a 3 year old son and I am always having to quickly close my browser when they appear behind me!

I am not trying to say that people can't have what they want more that i wish there was a way of turning them off :y

PM sent Jimbob :y

I heartily agree! :y :y

I have said before how this is a male orientated forum, and I have just put up with some avatars.  But now they have become rather offensive with female parts 'blasting' out from the screen in a way you can hardly ignore.

Come on fella's, tone them down please ;) ;) ;) ;)

It's a girl in a bikini.  Do you put blindfolds on your kids when they go down the beach in the summer?

Additional advice, dont go to beach in Germany or France for the summer.  You might go blind  ;D ;D ;D ;D

I know tunnie, and I have blocked avatars in the past, but why should I have to!!  When you block avatars you also block any other images that person posts.  Why should I have to put up with that on a "public family forum"???

I am using the forum less and less now, for various reasons, and this does not help my feelings about it! :( :( :( :(

Dutifully changed. Due to complaints.

<---------So here's a nice BIG JUICY PEAR look at ;D

Personally i don't see the difference between page 3 etc.
I went to Greece some years ago & no one complained about ladies walking around topless, though i should've, because some of them shouldn't have (you know what i mean).
