I worked in various department stores in and around London during the 90's, and had many famous people as customers, Paul McGann, Rolf Harris, Ian and one or two other Eastenders (Adam was a very pleasant chap nothing like his character!), Barbara Windsor, David Platt, Rodney Marsh at my tyre shop in Fulham in the 70's (also had David Frost's and Laurence Olivier's vehicles in but never met them), Stephen Fry, Mariella Frostrup, John Virgo, Annabel Croft, Glenys Kinnock (one of the most pleasant people i ever met), and many others who i cannot remember for now, but i knew a bloke who was a mate of Ian Gillan... ;)

met rowan atkinson when he filmed mr bean at the airport bowling alley, it was the one where he is trying to get out of the car park, i had to go in early to fix the barrier as it was vandalised the night before,
also met jim broadbent, allison steadman, george cole & gary webster (ray daley) all filming various programmes,
picked up francis de-la-tour (miss jones on rising damp) when i was a cabby in berko.
when i worked at sutton superbowl francis rossi used to come in quite often & was a great bloke,
& the one that sticks out was also at sutton bowl it was lindsey dawn mackenzie & her rather large bits, thats when she was going with some bloke from eastenders (bepe?), not that i noticed him of course :o :D :P :y

Barry Foster (Vandervalk) tried to chat my Mum up in a London cafe but she knocked him back as she'd just met my Dad. Mums best mate & my godmother Dawn shared a place in Chelsea (overlooking the ground) with Simon Dee's ex wife & i kissed her daughter. Ironically a few years later i was in Borstal with the son. I saw Sean Connery, Ronnie Corbett & Cliff Michlemore at the west sussex golf course when i was a caddy in my teens, & when i was a van driver i delivered a parcel to Roger Daltry's pile in E. Sx but did'nt see him. :y

Ronnie Wood once asked me if I would like him to sign my guitar in a Dublin pub - no thanks (he was very, very drunk), & Eric Clapton once bought me a beer one lunchtime in Alresford

Forgot to mention an ongoing connection with a lady friend & Marty Wilde. Would love to elaborate but discretion is the better part of valour & we're still in touch so gob  firmly shut for a change!!
No, it's not his daughter Kim but was'nt she lovelty back in the day?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hWZqllm3mQ&feature=related. I never met her but had a coffee with her dads bass player. Can't say more much as i'd like to but.......a long term friend has to be afforded her privacy.
