Thats your opinion, personally I love em, yeah they're expensive but the quality, the driving experience, interiors are second to none from my point of view  :y

Yep, person I work for has a grey XF V8, lovely car no doubt but would rather have a BM anyday. What BM's have you been driving all of them feel like a quality product, more so than the Jag being totally honest.

330d M Sport and the 123d M Sport plus a mate has the 320d which has convinced him to never get a BM again.  The ride and the experience is so much better in the XF than any of the BMs I tried.  That said the 123d impressed me in that it drove like a petrol  :y   Still full of plastic and tin though  :(

1 Series, I'll totally agree with you on that they look tatty and they do feel cheap inside. 3 series they may ride badly but the M Sports put them anywhere in the dry and it'll go there, the 320d has a cracking engine, the 330d is even better. It's all down to personal preference no way does a new 3 series feel cheap though, the quality of materials used is second to none. Christ I sound like BMW salesman. I love em though really do  :y The XF doesn't feel half as good to drive as a 5 series either.

The e39 and e60 BMW 5 series are ok, not keen on the rest of the range. 1 series is for people that think a Focus is too common and spend stupid money on a small car when I think the Focus is a better car, 3 series is dull, 5 series is good, 7 series is ok...but then you get the X3 and X5 which are both totally and utterly rubbish, pointless and have had some reliability issues, but not with the 3.0 diesel engine. Then there's the weird other models they insits we all need and want. The XF is a nice car, but I prefer the XJ (X350). BMW's are ok, but I think they're not as great as people think they are. Only like the 5 series...nothing else from them.

If you want something with a mad diesel engine try a VW Touareg, they do a 5.0 V10 diesel that is really rapid.I know 99.9% of you won't touch a VW but even if it is just for a one off experiance try and get a test ride in one.As a car it is poo but what they have done with the engine makes you laugh.

Don't get me started. I've experienced shopping trolleys that are more fun to steer. ;D

Answer is simpple here.
Buy an audi a6  ;)
Or an A8 with v12 tdi if available.
Every beemer engine is crap compared to that engine.
And the build quality is way better.
One of my friends has an Xf 2.7  premium luxury the other has 530d.
Jag is just as good as the beemer and far better looking. (was cheaper too)

Do you want the figures for the 3.0 deisel XF as the 2.7 has been redundant for nearly a year now......or are you happy to admit the XF has better figures....including mpg  ::) ::) ::)
