XF's second hand more pricey than beemers at the moment, but hopefully that will change in a few years time as the XF is still fairly new.

I sat in BMW 530d at a dealer in London, felt ok, but twisty dials for air-con / heat  :o

It was nice, but not £15,000 nice. Its about the only decent RWD replacement, quite like Dels Saab Aero even though its FWD, most parts are on Vx TC.

Not a fan of VeccyC interior or looks, so would look more to Saab 93.....

But if i LPG the 2.2, thats going to be staying for along time yet. Even more so if i get a house, as i would most likey commute via train, so my millage would drop to nothing.

Do you want the figures for the 3.0 deisel XF as the 2.7 has been redundant for nearly a year now......or are you happy to admit the XF has better figures....including mpg  ::) ::) ::)
Haven't even looked at the 3.0 figures to be honest.

You'll be suprised  ::)

 :-?

lets be honest.. BMW makes good cars..

so do Jaguar..

both cars are not in the same class with vauxhalls/opels.. (even they are powered with ford engines)

if you got the money, drive an E46 M3 ,

if budget not ok try 330i.. both really good machines

with double vanos..

same applies to 5 series also.. plastic is no reason to say a car is bad..

never had the chance to drive a jaguar but they are  well built on the avg compared to vauxhall and opel..

and please check their test ratings on the net.. :y

These are the dials you want tunnie, and do not buy from a bmw dealer, they'll over charge you for something you can get for much less.

Yup, twisty dials, not great really. Think the Omega dash is better, it was nice, don't get me wrong, but can't justify £10-15k  :-/

Its going to be tight enough as it is when i take on a house  :'(
