I spoke to a florist friend of mine only yesterday and she says the cold weather has all but killed them off, so expect HIGH prices, but she would say that would'nt she.
Just give her a nice piece of CLOGAU GOLD, she will appreciate it more, of that I am sure. :y :y :y :y

She'll have to settle for the daffodils - after 18 months out of work I couldn't even buy her a piece of Welsh coal.  :( I'll be using her money for the daffs. :(

Yep, tomorrow's a big day in Welsh schools too.

We used to have a concert in the morning, boys wearing a leek, girls with daffs.
Then an afternoon off school!

Tomorrow also sees the re-introduction of the Swansea - Cork Ferry too.

That has been DELAYED Byron, they are hoping for Friday week.
Ship has not been insurance certificated.
That is where I met my wife while we both worked on board (on the old superferry), and yes it has been delayed I did think about doing a journey just for old times sake but was a bit expensive just for a day and night, maybe if they get some special offers :y

Guess what madam is having for tea (supper or dinner for us southerners)?

Got it in one! A toasted cheese and onion sandwich! :D :D :D

In deference to 39 years spent living outside the Principality, she put a slice of tomato on it. :)
