Threads with jokes in

Call me a stick in the mud if you must, but like NWS did we not have an agreement that (Joke) would be put in the title so that those not interested could give them a miss....... :-/

What I think was agreed was that the smiley icons were used to more effect for the thread titles.

I do think the "debate" swung backwards and forwards regards age of the user at the time as well, plus female members were mentioned  regards thier dirty minds and foul mouths as well.   ::) :y

Might just be me, very busy and a lot of hassle at the moment work wise, but the general chat does not seem to be what it was......... :) seems to be either jokes or over serious 'political' type threads, what has happened to the friendly taking the pee out of each other.....
As I say, it might just be the way I am feeling at the moment.... :(

Once it's running properly again, or at least diagnosed and readily repairable, he's fair game again :D :D

But I know the troubles it's caused and am really rather baffled by it :-/ :-/

I think it swings from one to the other at times.  I thought it had been a bit quiet most night's this week, but then when I caught up with the thread on Jaimie's car being poorly I understood why a few members were chatting in annother thread or had thier head's under a bonnet most night's.

The banter comes and goes, I think if it was constant pee takes every night then people would get fed up for that reason.  I dont post jokes whenthe forum is buzzing,I tend to post them when Iam bored and the forum is quiet.

But as I have actually started to unpack the 1000's of boxes that I used when I moved I now am just poping on and off the forum and using it to chill out.

I reckon it's something daft like a lead or a duff plug.  I once drove a hired mini bus with about adozen women on it, within a mile from the hire place there was suddenly a massive banging noise and probably a couple of women with wet knickers fromthe sudden noise., turned it off and rung the hire cantre, 10 mins later a mechanic had come out, took out a spark plug core and put an old spark plug from his tool box back in, job was sorted, the plug had blown the core straght out, simplefix, but the noise it made sounded terminal,and we had to be at the NIA/birmingham in 3 hours, we made it there and back with ease.

Sounds like I have missed something....... ::) ::) ::)

I enjoy the forum for many reasons, and no other forum, that I know, seems to be so lively, but it helps me to relax from some of the stress of my work and the serious issues I have to deal with day to day. This in part is why I do not input in some threads and I thank my fellow oofers who have cautioned me when I have.... :y I am in a 'heavy' situation at the moment so miss the opportunity to off load indirectly.... ::) ::)
