Email receipt
« on: 08 May 2010, 12:00:03 »

Is it possible to get a receipt for a sent email, to tell you when the receiving person has opened it, if so how do you do it.

TIA :y

yes, depends on your email program how to do it though, and the receipent can get a prompt asking whether or not to send the receipt, so its not fool proof.

Depends on your email client, what you using to send it? Outlook? CrapMail? Gmail?

Having never bothered with read receipt, just checked. Google does not do it!  ;D ;D

No blaming Sky  :D

As Jimbob says though, they are unreliable, and if the receiver is using Outlook, it prompts them saying do you wish to read receipt to be sent
