I agree here, I think the quiz is likely to have more participants in the winter months. If the summer is going to be as good as the last few days then I think the numbers will suffer

That's the best solution, but I no longer own a functioning laptop, or a supportive lap, for that matter.   

But the lad has now finished at university, so he'll be living here - I can borrow his laptop, because he'll be out geting drunk of a Saturday.  Always assuming, that is, that we can repair his machine - it's been destroyed, apparently, by some malware that arrived with something or other he downloaded from from some file sharing website. 

He has been warned not to do that a million times.  Looks like I'm going to have to actively manage my firewall - he's NOT going to do it over my fragile internet connection.
