Do you have things on your mind? Are you taking any medication?

i stopped taking the tramadil a few weeks ago, taking so many they were'nt having any effect on me and my doctor said they were supposed to last a month and not a week.

Is it about that time you started with the new problem of not sleeping?

This is very common Richie. I dont think I've had a proper nights sleep for years. I'm tired for the first few hours each day but then I buck up.

when im tired during the day a "buck up" is guaranteed ::)

I have no day or night sleep pattern. I'll go to bed at night & be awake  3 or 4 hrs later. I can doze off again easily but the pattern re occurs. Same in the daytime. Alcohol or lack of makes no difference.
Maybe down to my work (HGV) I start finish at wildy warying times depending on where i have to be & at what time. I also drive round with a bed behind me & after a 4am start can easily sleep for 2 or 3 hours when i get to my destination later in the morning if it's a long load. Hence no regular sleep pattern for years now.

my dad was the same being a long distance lorry driver, i used to go out with him in his lorry and when i think about him carry those cast iron baths over his back makes me wonder how he never did his back in or get a hernia. mind you he was a big man in his day and a real grafter.

Only drink decaffenated coffee three hours before going to bed.

Take some excercise a few hours before bed e.g. walk an imaginary dog round the block

No acohol in last three hours before going to bed.
