Our block of flats had a communal sky dish installed by a company called  Spectrum Assosciates (London) - i think. They made the feed into everyone's flat for free but if you wanted it connected they charged £60.00.

If you need there number i can dig it out for you.

Cheers for that  :y

I believe the issue is not actually installing the dish or how lines are run, its actually getting physical access to the roof.

Didn't you used to have Inspector Gadget arms? They could do the job no problem!

Sky installers won't mount anything above step ladder height because they are a bunch of lazy, useless sods  >:(.  Jack all to do with H&S.

Tunnie - why bother with sky? Freeview takes less than a minute to go through to decide there is nothing but trash on. Sky takes about 15m to decide there is nothing but trash on.

LOL, its just dawned on me - my previous comments about Sky employees/contractors being lazy....  ....if the cap fits ;D ;D ;D

Sorry what? i was watching TV...  ::)  ;D

I'll take out Virgin for the internet as they are good price anyway for that, tbh if i did not get the package for free i would not buy it.

I download most TV shows as we are so far behind in UK, Chuck for example on Virgin 1, i've already watched entire Season 3, even though its only just begun to air here.
