Awesome.  This is exactly what separates this site from many others.  People going out of their way, gaining new friendships and respect purely because they own the same model of car.

Well done 'MF'  :y and Goodluck Welung!  :y

Hi folks, I'm on a borrowed dongle from a neighbouring tent so just thought I'd pop on.

Firstly a huge thanks to Bertie for putting my panic stricken, non-sensible drivvle into a coherant plea for help. Secondly many thanks to everyone for calling or texting with offers of help. I've got MF coming up at lunchtime today with a toolkit and his TC to see if we can't get me sorted out.

I am touched by all your messages of concern, support and offers of help. Maybe I will make it to a larger meet and buy a round in :y

Anyway, enough gushing from me, I'm off to clmb a real gusher (a local waterall that hasn't falen fowl to a hydro-elec. plant... yet!) :y

Me again! Many many thanks to MF for turning up with bags of tools! I've stripped the waterpump out now and the main bearing has failed big time, so trying to source a replacement now.

Just one question..... How the hell does the viscous block come off?

Left handed thread ;)

I put a screw driver through the bolt heads to hold it and a large adjustable on the fan nut.

[edit]Edit to add:- New waterpump coming parcel farce ND service from the motor factors SWMBO works for £17.49 + vat + postage ;)[/edit]
