Your hard work is much appreciated Admin bosses, as forums go this is one of the more civilised ones (except for Skruntie 's dirty jokes  :D ) and the people,  though very down to earth and direct,  have hearts of gold  8-)

..you should go on the football or heavy metal forums for a really rough ride  ;)

::) Add to that, a particular 'Ford-model' forum; I managed to get called a "f**king sl*t" in my first thread posting! :o
.
...and I`d only posted a 'hello, my name`s Deb.' :'(

Is that a standard Ford owners chat up line?  ;D

Seriously though thats shocking  :o

....and when I mentioned that that kind language/attitude might be a little off-putting for other newbies; I was told to "get a thicker skin"..... :-[
......I didn`t post again. :-X

The trouble with computers debs is that its very easy to argue with people you have never even met, you"ll probably find that these people will never have the bottle to say it to your face,or cause an argument without the need of a computer. ;)

All publicity is good publicity ;)

Deb's post earlier is a clear example of what we don't want to happen here.

That kind of behaviour will likely result in an instant ban, no questions asked.  The kind of language aimed at one of our overworked Admin Team the other day will also result in an instant ban should anyone ever use that language again. We don't like to ban people, but if needs must to maintain the harmony here...

We just want every member to be absolutely clear what is and isn't tolerated.
