« on: 20 August 2010, 07:50:57 »

Getting a lot of 'Internet Explorer cannot display this page' on some websites.

Firefox displays them Ok.

Any ideas?

I sometimes get that, but rarely use IE

I just use IE for one or 2 sites, and often have to restart IE a couple of times before it works.

Not bothered as I use it so seldom

imo try downloading IE8 updates manually..

when you first install ie8 it causes some problems after its updated by the system (within some time) problem mostly finishes..

however nowadays there are numerous web masters and programmers that like to try every weird activex or add ons on their site  >:( which mostly dont work on standard ie8 configurations and sometimes cause it to collapse >:(
