I bought one years ago, it was the pet one, normal uprite. Was ok for the first year or so, but then u have to go about replacing stuff and in the end it DOES lose suction. Definately not worth the money IMHO.

So eventually i gave up on it and went out to buy a Numatic Henry! At least its easier to hoover out the car with! hehehehe.

If you read the link befire you made a comment, you might realise it's not about hoovers.  ::)

My thoughts exactly! ::) ::)

I have seen one of these in the flesh and it is quite funky but I wouldn't pay that price for a fan! :o :o

As for the hoovers... We had one and I wasn't overly impressed. It was heavy and no better that the Bissell one we have now ;)

As you hoover in your -and high hrrls then you are excused, but the link is actually to the Dysan hans range.

Of course we knew that.  I have had two Dyson vacuum cleaners and they're pretty good.  It's the fans that are too expensive. :)

I would love a try of one of those....

It would have to be VERY good at that price.

They had lots those fired up in my local Makros's a few weeks ago when we had our once a year 2 day heatwave.

Was quiet impressed, not with price though.

Damned right. I could think of plenty of more interesting things to spend that sort of money on, and given the choice I'd just sweat a bit more, I'm afraid. ;D

I wouldn't buy another Dyson over rated, over priced and not made over here. I could never understand how they got away with the "no bag so no loss of suction" advert, b0llocks, when the filters clogged it certainly lost suction and wern't cheap to replace.
