Just a few observations Jimbob  ::)

1. I prefered it how it was, much more colourful & 'fluid' lol. ;D
2. It now looks like a piece of Brisket! :o
3. Nice colour thread, blue is my fave colour  :y

Get well soon mate  :y ;)

Back at the docs yesterday

Had my stitches out, not the most pleasant experience.
Back to very careful again, nice to not have the stitches pulling and itching any more though.

Gotta keep a careful eye out for infection for the next few days and get anti-bi's if neccessary.

But the good news was the biospy results were back, and it was nothing more serious than an infected abcess.

Currently dressed with iodine dressings, and back on Tuesday for another prod.

If you can get your hands on some pure iodine add a few drops to your shower gel for an excellent cleaning and debraiding soap :y

handy tip,

this is iodine impregnated sheets you cut to size and place over the wound.  so not bottles of the stuff

No, you soak the iodine into a Scotch pad, and give it a good rub :D

Now just over a week since the stitches came out :

and  now

http://images.omegaowners.com/images/Jimbob/IMG_1156_resize.JPG

Healing nicely now, and enjoying having no dressing on it for the 1st time in 3 months!

Had the pathologist report, and apparently it was a sinus track, with granuloma.

Starting on some light stuff again - washed my new car for the 1st time last night  :D
Gonna take some time till its healed enough for anything much, but nice to make a start at last  :D :D :D

Yep. :y  Was the second part of the op I was waiting on.  Will take a month or two before I'm back to full fitness but I can manage that now that I'm drug, tube and daily dressing free :y :y

:P In view of the thorough and ongoing pictorial documentation of your affliction; all I can say, is that it`s clearly for the best that it wasn`t Haemorrhoids you were suffering from! ;D

;) Only kidding!......I`m very glad you`re on the mend James; it must be all that "kissing it better" by Ljay. :y
