The Milibands are from pure bred Marxist stock, and no amount of expensive suits can disguise the fact. He is owned by the unions and he will never be allowed to forget it.He is wet behind the ears and has all the charisma of a dead sheep.
It would be difficult to imagine him winning an election, even allowing for the amount of morons who are entitled to vote.
He will never be able to bring in big money to the party coffers from wealthy business people like B.liar did. Therefore he will never have the option, even if he wants to, of disobeying his union masters.
And BTW the whole election was a fiddle anyway. many individuals could ( and Im sure did) vote up seven times iirc.
May he and his moronic comrades be Her Majesties official opposition until hell freezes over.
He wont be tough on the banks, he knows just the same as Vince Cable knows that it simply isnt possible in the short or medium term. You cant wreck the one thing that keeps your economy afloat, no matter how much Socialist blood you have running through your veins.
He would have to have a level of stupidity on a par with Ed Balls to seriously contemplate that.
The only answer to being so reliant on our world class financial sector is a long term policy of rebuilding the countries manufacturing sector. If anyone knows how to do that in the face of the competition from China, India etc please tell us all. I would be fascinated to hear the answer to that question. ;)

My feelings for Ed are adequately reflected in Mr Eugenides' post. ;)

His brother called him "special", I think the comrades started to applaud so he didnt get the chance to finish his sentence. If they had been a bit more patient, he only had one more word to say - "needs" ;D

The only answer that springs to mind Z is to install a socialist dictatorship who immediately declare all forms of wages null and void, and state that henceforth all manufacturing level comrades will be paid the same amount - 2 bowls of rice per day. ::) ;)
They could all live in state or company owned apartment blocks which would need to have safety nets installed outside the windows of all floors above ground level , in order to prevent shop floor level comrades from throwing themselves out of the windows because it seems a better option than going back to work
This apparently is how the factory which produces the ipad works.
