Just out of interest, this is the THIRD time I've been made redundant in THREE last jobs in the last 10 years.

Anybody beat that?? :'( :'( :'(

If your accrued service between the latter two companies exceeds two years, then I'm pretty sure that you qualify for redundancy payment - 'Transfer of undertakings' etc.

Terrible news for you at any time let alone at Christmas. Having been through the experience myself I know what its like. Hope the new year will bring better news and employment

Got me chin up, don't really have to worry money-wise until Jan.......got a bit of time to look now as on "Gardening leave".

I'm really sorry to hear your news Six :( Bloody bad business at any time but Christmas seems to 'put the boot in' so to speak!  >:( I sincerely hope you are back to the grindstone ASAP. :)
