Toffee ?!?  :-?  Yep, same here too.  Not heard anything refered to as 'Toffee' on the OOF.
Except for a mixture of caramelised sugar, butter and corn syrup.   ;)

Yup, Toffee's because they are as soft as baby poo.  I third that they are a great looking wheel.

yes, nicknamed toffee....

cos irmscher made em out of the stuff...

Fantastic looking wheels, but the chance of finding one actually still round is slim to non existant!  buckle and bend at the slightest bump  :'( :'( :'(

none of the 4 on my old car were round, one took 9 goes at being balanced to get it ok!

hers are still good....but they were the last UK stock, replaced a few years ago  :D

Toffee is being too kind to them.  Lovely looking wheels, but impossible to live with. I had 9 of them, all distorted. One I buckled with a simple, albeit extreme, understeer moment, even though I didn't hit/kerb anything.

Gave up with them, now have facelift MV6 wheels on my prefacelift MV6

...............clearly been said already.........

Why Irmscher should choose to make that particular wheel out of such a rubbish material I've no idea..........

Toffee; egg-box cardboard; paper-mache; wire wool; plasticine - think of a malleable material that is unsuitable for using as an Alloy wheel and you've got the idea...............

All style and no substance.

The 19" VXR is a lovely looking wheel that tends to get rather cracked...........

GM/Vaux do like to make a wheel that has its flaws it would seem, although not too many I hope.

Any other manufacturers make dodgy Alloys that people can recall.................?
