Albs got me to thinkin about other comparisons...

I have always been a Boxing Fan and Mike Tyson was my hero in the ring until his downward spiral... no-one whilst he was in his Prime could live with him and yet he was far lighter mostly than the fighters he fought. His speed and movement along with timing and his power created havoc....

20years before Tyson was the Master of the Ring, Casssius Clay/Mohammed Ali. His presence was just Awe Inspiring. His speed and movement along again with perfect timing and power blitzed the opponents.

My Grandad who got me into boxing as a boy loved Joe Louis. Now he yet again was Class, I have footage of all these old gladiators and still I find it hard to imagine or even to start to think who would beat who??

This question has been chewed over by Boxing Big Wigs for years but what do you think??

I honestly do not think there will be another showman like Ali.

I smile eachtime I see his clips, getting in his opponents heads

I'm no expert but wasn't Tyson just a 'street fighter'? Ali wore his opponents down with his mouth as much as did with his fists - a fantastic man 

I think many were as gob struck as me when they first saw the effects of Parkinson's had had on him.

Tyson a street fighter... people say this but if you watch some clips and footage of him Andy and see this guy move he was something else.....

Ali all the way. The greatest ever.Tyson had strength and aggression - Ali had everything, including brains - which Tyson never had., imo.

A fantastic man. He was so quick that when he turned off the bedroom light, it was still light when he got into bed!

Just such a shame that he carried on for too long and ended up in the state he is in now.

I think that for most of us, the first time we saw him anything like that was when he lit the Olympic torch a few years ago. A very poignant moment.

How weird is that, I have just Googled this song and it says was released  21 Mar '75... the day before my 4th birthday
