On a side note am I the only person who does not like block paving ?

Wish I'd known about that machine before helping a mate out to do his driveway last year.  Took me a week to get over that job!  Never volunteer when out drinking, that's all I'll say.  ;D

Fantastic. Bit like swimming pool mosaics but on a larger scale.

Was that a built in Speed hump at the end? I couldn't see as each time I played it my(pseudo) broadband jumped. ;D ;D

I don't think you need to go to that expense...

On some of the YV series on discovery there was a program about replacing runways in america.

Thumper machine goes down the runway and cracks the concrete.
Breaker/chippers lifts it all up on to a conveyor and chips it into little stones, that is then relaid as a base.

Then along comes the cement wagon and fills up a machine that lays concrete and steel mesh as the new runway.

Mini convoy, rips up and lays a new runway in one go.

Facinating stuff.  :y
