Don't see anything wrong with youngsters modifying their cars for a bit of individualism and think it's probably more of a a hobby to most of them. Let's face it, as young boys nearly all of us had a keen interest in cars and the better looking or faster, the better. I can remember my first car in the 70's - a Ford Anglia that I spent a lot of time "souping up" and modifying. I remember saving up and eventually getting a set of 5.5J Rostyle wheels (a must have in those days) and had slightly larger tyres fitted. Found out I couldn't turn the wheels full lock without hitting the wheel arches. Out came the hacksaw and problem solved! Even in those days, had a large bore noisy exhaust fitted and thought the car sounded the mutts nuts although my parents weren't in agreement!!
So in essence, things haven't really changed that much.

Ahhhhh Rostyle wheels - the memories. Give me a set of them over those irmscher things any day of the week.
