Oh dear, another immature, tiresome attention seeker in UKIP then? terribly sorry old boy, I am a little tired  ;)

Nah, just a man who isnt embarrassed to be British. Not part of the fashionable clique, who can face anything apart from being thought of as unsophisticated or unprogressive. ;)

.. and thinking about the country's interests rather than his next career move.

Sometimes the only way to grab people's attention is to be tad controversial. There's more than an element of truth to what Mr Bloom said. The EU is frighteningly undemocratic and is aiming, I think, to become even more so. I have read many comments elsewhere about this and a large number are supportive.  :y

Yes, we've discussed this type of approach before (when N F made the comments about Herman Van Rompuy)

I don't think it's particularly helpful especially at a time when we should be focussed on distancing the Nation from this increasingly intrusive state.

We need credible opposition in the EU Parliament to counter the many representatives from here who seem to be more than content to play the game in return for the rewards.

With comments like this;

He has also remarked: "I just don't think they (women) clean behind the fridge enough.

"I am here to represent Yorkshire women who always have dinner on the table when you get home. I am going to promote men's rights."

.......can he be taken seriously?

I tend to agree. Dear old Godfrey is an insignificant man from an insignificant  political party. Without his immature outburst .....he would no doubt have remained totally anonymous..... :-/ :-/

However ....he may well be right about one thing...A woman should have her husband's meal ready for him when he arrives home after a long day at work... :y :y :y :y :y ;)
