mines usually quite quick, anything up to 6mm of beard growth  ;D ;D

I like this answer best .. ;D

But 90 minutes is closer - just over an hour from walking in, waiting 20 minutes for a parts person to appear and serve me, and the rest of the time for him to put the order through, crash the system, swear, walk around for a bit, call tech support, put the order in again, and charge me an arm and a leg (I should have just gone to andyc, because I'm sure the gaskets & seals were cheaper from him!) because "Only the battery is on the TC".. but by that point I was so pissed off with waiting (and starving as I hadn't had lunch yet) that I gave in and paid  ::)

I was expecting it to be like Toyota - don't think I ever waited more than 15 minutes there  :-X

Gosh that is fast. Luxury. Ever tried getting something from a Spanish Opel dealer? Oh and I made a special 40 mile round journey to order a part only to find a handwritten note saying closed now on Saturday mornings winter hours. I had only been in the Saturday before............

That is certainly rubbish, or at least I always get trade discount! ::) ::)

Indeed and, actually, on checking the invoice now I'm back in the warm office .. most stuff has a discount, just the cam cover gaskets that are at full retail (which stings a tad as they aren't cheap).. obviously the discount is tiny on something that's only £1.17 to begin with, though :)

My local has been fine.  Took 10 minutes in total to get a parts person and then for him to create a relevant ABS account for the system and take my order.  Even apologised profusely that he didn't have everything in stock because it was for an Omega.  I turned up later that day and collected all my bits very quickly, I even got offered help with taking all the boxes back to the car!  Obviously I declined because I'm a man, *insert manly sound*  ;D

Must be our friendly and helpful people up north eh?  ;)

I'm surprised the battery did not need a top up charge by the time you got it :D

It might by now.. it's still sitting in the boot of the car ;D

I'll fit it before I go home tonight I reckon, since there are lights in the underground carpark and at home it's pitch black outside my house - unless I drive the car down my neighbours drive.. then his 11297361827watt security light will come on ;D
