Just had some Soup
« on: 02 December 2010, 18:43:31 »

I love the Cream of Mushroom, Chicken or Tomatoe range but decided to have a tin of lentil soup (No bread) and then decided to try the potatoe and leek one as well (It looked lonely left on the shelf)

Whats your favoutite tinned soup.

Mine are all Tesco's at the moment (Finished all the heinz off allready)

Love Mulligatawny soup out of the can even though i can't spell it. What's the Vindaloo Steve??? Make my own Potato & leek, lentil, veg soups. Don't like tinned mushroom...yucky taste. Hienz veg soup is lovely poured over mash & pork chops as is Hienz chicken added to cooked pasta, mushrooms, cauliflower, onions, diced chicken or turkey breasts & mustard all stirred in. When nearly ready grate a decent mature cheddar & sprinkle with smoked paprika, give it another 10 mins & enjoy...MMMM...YUM!

Now you're tootin' BJ, I do remember that it was very tasty indeed.

I gave processed foods up many years ago as I found them (especially tinned soup) to be much too salty - tasty - but salty.
